Cursor Gaze

Make a character follow your cursor. Drop a looping video. Your browser maps where the face points in every frame and turns it into a hero that looks wherever the cursor goes. Nothing is uploaded.

The subject looks wherever the cursor goes.

MP4 or MOV, up to 20 seconds. It never leaves your browser.

How it works

  1. Generate a loop. Start from a portrait or a product shot on a plain background and animate it in Seedance 2.5 with the prompt below.

  2. Drop it above. Faces: the page finds the face in every frame and records where it points. Objects: Spin mode turns the loop into a 360° turn you scrub with the cursor.

  3. Put it on your site. Pro members download the video re-encoded so it can jump to any frame instantly, the look map and a ready embed.

Works best when

  • One subject, centered, on a plain background, with a locked camera.

  • The face stays visible the whole time: people and stylized 3D characters both work.

  • The loop starts and ends looking at the camera, so it can rest there.

  • Animals and faceless characters are next: they need AI mapping instead of face tracking.

Prompt examples to get the right video

Seedance 2.5 prompt for faces

Animate the subject in the reference image while preserving its exact appearance, proportions, materials, and colors. The body stays fixed facing the camera for the entire shot: the torso, shoulders, hips, and feet do not turn, step, or rotate. Only the head and eyes move. The subject starts looking straight at the camera. Then the gaze traces one slow, continuous circle around the frame: lower-left, left, upper-left, up, upper-right, right, lower-right, down, lower-left again, and finally back to the camera.
Each head turn stays small, about 30–40 degrees at most, so the face always stays clearly visible toward the camera, at most a three-quarter view. The subject never turns sideways, never shows its back, and never spins around.
Keep the subject centered and at a constant scale. Completely stationary camera, fixed framing, unchanged plain background and lighting. Keep the same expression and the eyes open. No blinking, talking, gestures, walking, cuts, zoom, or camera movement. The final pose matches the starting pose.

Seedance 2.5 prompt for objects (Spin)

Animate the object in the reference image while preserving its exact shape, materials, colors, and details. The object makes exactly one slow, smooth 360-degree turn around its vertical axis, like on a turntable, at a constant speed. It stays upright and centered, at a constant scale and height, without tilting, flipping, or showing its underside. Completely stationary camera, fixed framing, unchanged plain background and lighting, soft consistent shadow under the object. No cuts, zoom, or camera movement. The final frame matches the first frame exactly, so the turn loops seamlessly.
